IMPORTANT UPDATE – ADVANCE PAYMENT FOR RENTAL GUNS
We regret to announce a change to our gun rental booking policy at Ground Zero Airsoft.
From 1st December 2026, all gun rentals for games taking place after this date must be paid for in advance at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, we've had to make this decision because over half of the guns booked for some games have not been collected.
HOW WILL THE NEW SYSTEM WORK?
Booking a rental gun: Payment of £20 is required when making your booking.
Waiting list: There is no charge to add yourself to the waiting list. If a place becomes available and you confirm that you want it, payment will then be required.
Changing your booking: You can still move your rental gun booking to another game, subject to availability.
Refunds: Refunds requested more than 24 hours before the game will be subject to a £5 administration fee to cover bank and processing charges.
⚠️ IMPORTANT REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be available for cancellations made within the final 24 hours before a game. Unfortunately, at such short notice, we are unlikely to have enough time to offer the reserved gun to another customer.
Refunds requested more than 24 hours before the game will still be subject to the £5 administration fee.

Frequently Asked UKARA Questions

Q. Does having GZ membership automatically get me a UKARA membership?

A. Yes, but only after you fulfil the criteria. Once you accumulate 3 visits in a period of no less than 2 months we will automatically register you on the UKARA database.

Q. My gun, or my parent's gun, is all black, but I am under 18. Can I play with it on your site?

A. Yes. UKARA is policed at the point of sale. Once you have your gun, we do not stop people and ask about their purchase or legality.

Q. What is an RIF?

A. RIF stands for Realistic Imitation Firearm.

Q. Can I sign up with GZ as I am under 18 years of age?

A. No. At the moment under 18s cannot legally purchase a Realistic Imitation Firearm, therefore there is currently no need to sign up for Ground Zero membership.

Q. Why is it that people I know who are under 18 have their own guns?

A. Either they purchased their guns before the VCRA legislation came into force or someone over 18 purchased a two-tone gun for them.

Q. Can I bring my dog on site

A. No, I am afraid the estate do not allow us to have players dogs on site
